Hawkeye is fast approaching, and a new poster for the Disney+ series has now been spotted at Disneyland's Downtown Disney. As you can see below, Clint Barton and Kate Bishop are featured in their superhero costumes; they look great together, and we can't wait to see how this partnership plays out. Of course, joining them is Pizza Dog, a creation of Matt Fraction and David Aja's.
In a TV spot released yesterday, we learned that the two Hawkeyes will team-up to face an "Avengers-level threat," though we're still not certain what that is. If rumours about Vincent D'Onofrio reprising his role as Wilson Fisk are accurate, then that's certainly one likely candidate for that description.
"I wanted [the archery] to be second nature by the time I got out to Atlanta to shoot, but the first time we met, Jeremy was like, 'Listen, you're going to get there and you're not even shooting a real arrow, it's all CGI,'" Hailee Steinfeld recently told Entertainment Weekly about her preparation for the show. "But I was still grateful to have the mechanics down."
Check out the new Hawkeye poster below:
"Set in post-blip New York City, former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero," reads the synopsis for the series. "The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit."
Starring Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye and Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, Hawkeye also features Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy James and newcomer Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez. Helmed by Rhys Thomas and directing duo Bert and Bertie, Hawkeye is set to debut exclusively on Disney+ on November 24, 2021...with the first two episodes!
