Before we head to theaters for Spider-Man: No Way Home less than a month from now, Disney+ will take us back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Hawkeye. Ahead of the two-part premiere next Wednesday, Marvel Studios has started hyping up the show by dropping even more new content.
As well as a featurette that offers a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the series, we have a TV spot featuring Kate Bishop designing Clint Barton a new costume. Does it look familiar? Well, it should, because it's a rough sketch of Hawkeye's classic comic book duds.
As well as the mask with the purple "H" on the front, it seems Kate believes this would be a solid bit of branding for her mentor. He doesn't appear convinced, so we're not banking on this actually making it into the show.
Check out the new Hawkeye TV spot and featurette below:
"Set in post-blip New York City, former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero," reads the synopsis for the series. "The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit."
Starring Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye and Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, Hawkeye also features Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy James and newcomer Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez. Helmed by Rhys Thomas and directing duo Bert and Bertie, Hawkeye is set to debut exclusively on Disney+ on November 24, 2021...with the first two episodes!
