Another episode, another cringe fest. I'm kind of starting to like the scientist character, but that's about the only positive I can give the episode. Again the action was abysmal, many scenes cringe inducing (Karnak and his one demential lady friend taking a swim), and just overall mediocrity across the board.

It still hasn't solved the biggest problem. THERE IS NO ONE TO ROOT FOR. The lesser of the evils is actually to root for Maximus because although he is a jealous, brutal, and kind of creepy guy, at least he is fighting to overthrow an oppressive caste system and save his people. The Royal family are a bunch of dicks who I couldn't care less if they all die. They lived a life of luxury on top of a system that pretty much enslaved people based on their genetic superiority or inferiority. Then on earth all they do is demand things of people (who for some reason always jump to oblige) , yell at machines for money like privileged children, steal, kidnap, and/or just act like dicks in general.

I've only watched the first two episodes, and it pains me to say that I'm in no haste to watch the rest. The MCU completionist part of me definitely will, eventually, but I don't see it happening eny time soon. Probably before Agents of SHIELD returns in December, or during the first couple of weeks of that month.

As for the actors, not to hate on Iwan Rheon, but the character of Maximus is written as the most one-dimensional carricature of the bunch. Not really a fan of what they're doing with Karnak's perception either, and as much as I defended Medusa's wig, it looks just as PS3-era as Lockjaw. I feel like Anson Mount is being wasted there, especially with the mannerisms he's been given. His hand gestures work perfectly, but his face seems to contort to weird, almost cartoonish expressions at times.

I have finally watched the show, 4 episodes back to back, so i don't feel bad labeling this as a POS!

This first season has just 8 episodes right? Thank god...

I was legit expecting a classic "Wilhelm Scream" at some point, cause it really feels like a cheap '80ties tv show.
Of course, they never had this big ass budget and VFX like for Lockjaw, but still...

The way they screwed up some of these characters, like Black Bolt, Karnak etc.. is pretty sad.
Funny thing is, i kinda like Medusa, i mean her whole storyarc is pathetic af, but when it comes to characterization... i can see the Medusa from the comics from time to time.
Even her acting is better than Iwan, he's doing a really bad job, but as a character i find him more likeable than the rest.
These Inhumans...The Royal family, really CAN'T push that "discrimination" agenda, which was a cool thing they tried to do in AoS.

@Doomsday8888 - still don't understand how Flash can do Grodd and Savitar and this this show dwarfs their budget and cant give us lockjaw or at least an inhumans set
