INHUMANS Star Anson Mount Says He Responded To James Gunn's Tweet With A "Lack Of Professionalism"

Following yesterday's rather odd Twitter exchange between GOTG director James Gunn and Inhumans actor Anson Mount, the latter has backtracked (to some degree, at least) with a follow-up Tweet...

Anson Mount, who played Black Bolt in the now defunct Inhumans TV series, took issue with some fairly innocuous Tweets from Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn yesterday, and the actor has now backtracked.

Gunn's comments about actors exaggerating their height to land roles clearly struck a nerve with Mount, but he did come to the filmmaker's defense when a follower called him a "nonce" (Brit slang for a pedophile), before suggesting that he may have overreacted (ya think?) to his Tweets and taken some of what he said out of context.

We weren't sure why Mount lashed out quite so vehemently, but he did explain himself shortly after the original Tweet.

Anyway, everything seems to be sorted now, but this just goes to show how even the most seemingly inoffensive things can be misunderstood and take on a life of their own on social media.

Now, let's start a campaign to get Anson Mount - as Black Bolt - in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
