INHUMANS: Black Bolt & Medusa Reunite In New Promotional Stills From Episodes Four & Five

Following a highly disappointing debut, Marvel's Inhumans will attempt to course correct this week with an episode that will see Black Bolt (Anson Mount) attempt to reunite with the rest of the Royal Family. However, based on these new promotional stills from episodes four and five, it doesn't look like that reunion will be happening until at least episode five, which will take the freshman drama past the halfway point on its first (and maybe only) season. Meanwhile, based on the newly released plot synopses, Maximus's (Iwan Rheon) actions are going to have huge repercussions for Attilan.

Check out photos from episode four, titled "Make Way for... Medusa," below:

Black Bolt sucks in this show.

He has no presence as a character. They never came up with a creative way to get around the fact that he can't speak so what you're left with is a main protagonist who is mute.

@IronMandarin - whats wrong with that?

Thats remaining faithful to the character

@JoJo1982 - i get what he's trying to say. I guess it wasn't as interesting on screen.

@IronMandarin - Agreed. Mute characters can be intriguing but the writers have no idea how to tap into that.

Look at Mr. Numbers and Mr. Wench from Fargo. The two communicate with American Sign Language. It creates an amazing amount of privacy, for deaf people to be surrounded by hearing people and be able to communicate in a way that no one can really understand.

I wish they could've added the same charm and intimacy of Mr. Numbers translating for Wrench to Medusa and Black Bolt.

@JoJo1982 - I saw rise of the planet of the apes without subtitles (didn't even know there were subtitles) and it was amazing still

@JoJo1982 - That is true. It is faithful to the character, but the method by which they communicate it to the audience is stupid. I was laughing out loud while watching the show because of how over the top his facial expressions were.

They could have easily done something effective like what @BlackBeltJones - suggested in Fargo or at the very least just used subtitles.
