Hot on the heels of their big Phase 4 theatrical preview this morning and during halftime of the Golden State Warriors/New Orleans Pelicans game, Marvel Studios released a brand new special look at Loki, the next big Disney+ series which will see the return of Golden Globe-winner Tom Hiddleston (Thor: Ragnarok; Avengers: Endgame) as the fan-favorite antihero.

While plot details are being mostly kept under wraps, the series will see the God of Mischief working for the Time Variance Authority and attempting to course correct the Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline, which he may or may not have inadvertently broken when he escaped with the Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame.

In addition to Hiddleston in the title role, the cast also features Owen Wilson (Wedding CrashersZoolander) as Mobius M. Mobius as well as Gugu Mbatha-Raw (The Morning ShowBelle), Sophia Di Martino (FlowersYesterday), Wunmi Mosaku (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find ThemBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justice), and Academy Award-nominee Richard E. Grant (LoganCan You Ever Forgive Me?) in undisclosed roles.

Loki will premiere, exclusively on Disney+, on June 11.

Marvel Studios’ “Loki” features the God of Mischief as he steps out of his brother’s shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.” Tom Hiddleston returns as the title character, joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. Kate Herron directs “Loki,” and Michael Waldron is head writer.

The VFX in this show looks insane! I wouldn't be surprised if this show has a slightly higher budget than The Falcon & The Winter Soldier.

Looking forward to the back and forth banter between Wilson and Hiddleston on this one.

Just like Midnight In Paris, except Hiddleston is the one time-traveling this time.

Who would have thought that Loki of all characters would get his own show. This is sometimes baffling how big Marvel Studios has become.

I’m looking forward to this more than any of the Marvel movies we’ve seen trailers for
1. The Batman
2. The Suicide Squad
3. Loki
4. Black Widow
5. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
6. Morbius

Can't wait for the end of the season where Feige or the showrunners explain how they "wanted to include a Thor cameo, but felt it would *detract* from the focus of the show" or some ridiculous B/S.

@globaltravels - I want to say you're joking, but I know you might as well be right too

Wonder if this'll be more heavy on the action than the previous two shows. The teasers and promos definitely give me that idea
