Loki's first season ended on a huge cliffhanger, with the God of Mischief stranded in a timeline where Kang openly rules over the Time Variance Authority. We don't know where this story goes next, but Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania's post-credits scene teased what looks to be a hunt for Kang Variants through the Multiverse following a reunited Loki and Mobius.
Scottish actress Kate Dickie (The Green Knight) has been cast as an antagonist in season 2, with previous rumours suggesting she might be another Loki/Sylvie Variant.
Trusted insider @MyTimeToShineH has shared some new intel, though, including the fact Dickie "is playing an evil general who wants her soldiers, former TVA agents, to destroy the new timelines created after the death of He Who Remains."
That doesn't necessarily mean she isn't Sylvie, but the villain actually sounds more like she's a disgruntled TVA agent who hopes to restore order after the Sacred Timeline started branching out. How Kang will factor into this is hard to say, but fans have high hopes for Loki season 2 as we head deeper into the Multiverse Saga.
The scooper has also shared new intel on Ke Huy Quan's character, revealing that he's called "Ouroboros" and is "the main tech guy for the TVA."
It appears as if he's an important character in season 2, and we're hoping it won't be too much longer before Marvel Studios share new details about Loki ahead of its planned return this summer.
Eric Martin takes over from Michael Waldron as Head Writer due to the fact he moved on to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and the upcoming Avengers: Secret Wars.
