LOKI: New Synopsis Reveals That The Stakes Are Going To Be Incredibly High For The God Of Mischief

Now that The Falcon and The Winter Soldier has wrapped up, the next Marvel Studios TV series to hit Disney+ is Loki this June. While there's a huge amount of excitement surrounding the show, there's still an awful lot we don't know about the plan for this version of the God of Mischief.

We do know tha this 2012 Loki managed to escape with the Tesseract when Earth's Mightiest Heroes travelled back in time, but a newly revealed synopsis has elaborated on the stakes the villain will face in this series.

Shared on Amazon.com in a listing for Loki: The Art of the Series, it reveals the possible consequences of Thor's brother managing to break out of his timeline.

"Picking up immediately after Loki steals the Tesseract (again)," it reads, "he finds himself called before the Time Variance Authority, a bureaucratic organization that exists outside of time and space, forced to answer for his crimes against the timeline and given a choice: face deletion from reality or assist in catching an even greater threat."

The fact that Loki is facing "deletion" is a major new detail, and we now know how the TVA is able to force him to work for them. Up until now, we assumed that the God of Mischief would simply end up being put back in his own timeline after escaping, but if the TVA is willing to delete him, that could mean they're capable of wiping out the realities The Ancient One warned The Hulk about.

As for what that "greater threat" might be, we're willing to bet it's Lady Loki or some other variant.

What do you guys think about these latest Loki plot details?
