Loki is one of the most highly anticipated TV shows heading our way this year, and some newly surfaced promo art offers a detailed look at the unique costumes the God of Mischief will sport in the series.
As you can see below, we have his TVA gear along with a tattered suit he'll don while...running for President? We don't know what that's all about yet, but we're certainly intrigued!
During a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Loki director Kate Herron revealed some surprise inspiration for the upcoming series. While we don't have a direct quote from the filmmaker, the publication notes that they, "include Blade Runner, Mad Men, and, most curiously, Teletubbies."
Teletubbies? Okay, then.
In Loki, the imperious God of Mischief, who, after absconding with the Tesseract, is a fish-out-of-water when he lands in a world of trouble with the bureaucratic TVA (Time Variance Authority) steps out of his brother’s shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame.
Tom Hiddleston returns as the title character, joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. Kate Herron directs Loki, and Michael Waldron is head writer. Recently, we learned the show will premiere on Disney+ on June 9th, 2021.
