With less than two weeks to go before Loki returns to Disney+ with its second season, Marvel Studios has shared an inventive new poster which hypes up the show's move to Thursday nights.
Like Ahsoka, the series is set to premiere at 6pm PT, albeit on Thursdays instead of its original Friday slot. This approach to releasing content will seemingly become the norm for big titles like these moving forward. A prime time slot - rather than midnight - will make them appointment viewing and, more importantly, help fans avoid spoilers the following day.
We're hoping Loki season 2 better explains the Multiverse and it should go some way in setting the stage for Avengers: The Kang Dynasty too. Despite ongoing legal controversies, Jonathan Majors will be a big part of the show, this time as Kang Variant Victor Timely.
"Victor Timely is somebody that we are very, very excited about," executive producer Kevin Wright recently said. "When you look at Kang, he has a very funny comic backstory. He has all these iterations. Timely was one that we've always wanted to do in Loki. And I think we're really excited about how that integrates into the season. It's a big part of the show."
Needless to say, we're intrigued to see where the story is heading and what sort of role Loki will play in the wider Multiverse Saga beyond just this series. It feels like the God of Mischief is definitely being set up as a key player, anyway!
