Looks like we now know who the main villain (or one of 'em, at least) that Mike Colter's Luke Cage will be facing-off against in the second season of the Marvel series.

LUKE CAGE Returns In This First Teaser For The Upcoming Second Season; Premiere Date Revealed

EW reports that veteran actress Annabella Sciorra (Internal Affairs, The Hand that Rocks the Cradle, Jungle Fever) has been added to the cast as Rosalie Carbone. This character was actually introduced as one of The Punisher's many mafia baddies in the comics, but the small-screen take on Carbone is described as “a dangerous downtown criminal underworld power player with an eye, and an agenda, toward Harlem.”

“I’ve been a huge fan of hers since Spike Lee’s Jungle Fever, and Anabella Sciorra is no joke as Rosalie Carbone,” says Luke Cage showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker. “You haven’t seen her this gangster since her thrilling turn as Tony’s formidable flame Gloria Trillo on season 3 of The Sopranos. I’m thrilled her introduction to the Marvel Universe will be on Marvel’s Luke Cage.”

Sciorra also has a recurring role in the second season of Netflix's wrestling drama series, G.L.O.W.

Luke Cage returns to whup some ass on June 22.

@SpideyQuad - that's way to far right, watch all 22 episodes of each series and you will find episodes worse than actual seasons of shows

Why does this website always turn into toxic trash when a Marvel trailer comes out?

I have been a commenter for a few years now and I used to think that these kids would eventually grow up.

Now I realise they've been adults all along and that this shit will never change.
