New LUKE CAGE Featurette Focuses On The Musical Influences Of The Netflix Series

This new Luke Cage sneak peek is all about the tunes we'll be hearing when the latest Marvel/Netflix collaboration hits our screens next month.

Though there is some new footage here and there, it mainly focuses on Coker and music supervisors Adrian Younge and Ali Shaheed Muhammad explaining why they chose the specific songs that'll feature on the show. There's also input from the likes of Method Man, A$ap Ferg and others.

If nothing else, it sounds like Luke Cage is going to boast a very distinctive, and very cool soundtrack.

After a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage becomes a fugitive trying to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. But he is soon pulled out of the shadows and must fight a battle for the heart of his city – forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury.

Luke Cage punches onto Netflix on September 30th.
