MS. MARVEL: Did BATGIRL Directors Adil El Arbi And Bilall Fallah Just Confirm Season 2 Plans?

Ms. Marvel directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah may have lost their Batgirl movie, but it appears as if they're gearing up to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe to continue Kamala Khan's story.

Ms. Marvel received a lot of praise from fans and critics, and while the series definitely had a villain problem, it excelled in a lot of other ways. Bad Boys For Life filmmakers Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah helmed the first and final episodes of the Disney+ series, with both of those arguably the best of the bunch.

Bringing some unique visuals and outstanding action to the show, it's no wonder fans ended up being more excited than ever to see what they had brought to the table for Batgirl.

Unfortunately, Warner Bros. Discovery cancelled that movie as part of cost-cutting measures and the hope now is that Arbi and Fallah might eventually return to the MCU. In fact, that could happen sooner rather than later, as the filmmakers recently took to social media to seemingly tease season 2 of Ms. Marvel

As you can see below, they shared a video looking back at the show's first season and captioned it, "Just reminiscing on our time spent in the MCU. [W]ho's ready for season 2?!"

What's interesting about this is the fact these comments come just days after it was reported that Marvel Studios is moving forward with a second season of the show. Both directors have previously expressed interest in returning to continue telling Kamala Khan's story, while Kevin Feige seemed very happy with their work on Ms. Marvel in an email commiserating the situation they've been put through with Batgirl being shelved.

Kamala will next be seen in The Marvels and it would make all the sense in the world to follow that with Ms. Marvel season 2. Returning to the MCU for that would be a great way for Arbi and Fallah to make a comeback after recent events, so fingers crossed it happens.

The unique visuals (which weren't that unique) were only really in ep 1 and disappeared rapidly only to reappear briefly in the last ep

Honestly don't care if there's a season 2 or not, Iman was a good lead and the family dynamic was well done (until they abandoned it) but the rest was poor. If it happens fine, if not, I won't be bothered.

Another Season? When does it air? I'll make sure I know when not to watch.
