Ms. Marvel reshoots are reportedly taking place in Atlanta at the moment, and some new photos may reveal an unexpected connection to Spider-Man: Far From Home and Spider-Man: No Way Home.
In the former, Mysterio made use of Stark Industries drones to stage an attack on London he ultimately framed Peter Parker for orchestrating. In the sequel, those drones had been confiscated and acquired by the government, but it seems the machines have now been repurposed...and sent after Kamala Khan!
This could line up with rumours that a government organisation known as N.I.C.E. will be among the show's villains, though it's unclear why they would want to target the teenager. However, just like S.W.O.R.D. rebuilt The Vision for their own sinister purposes, it's not hard to imagine a shady group like this making use of those powerful drones to track down superpowered teens.
Linking Kamala to Spider-Man is an interesting decision, especially as we've rarely seen the events of that trilogy have a significant impact on the wider MCU. Between Ms. Marvel and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, that's clearly about to change in a big way moving forward.
Ms. Marvel is expected to premiere on Disney+ later this year.
