The fourth episode of Marvel's Secret Invasion debuts on Disney+ tomorrow, and EW has shared an exclusive sneak peek of what appears to be a very exciting, action-packed sequence.

In the clip, we see Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Talos (Ben Mendelsohn) arrive on the scene as Skrull rebel leader Gravik (Kingsley Ben-Adir) and his forces turn the surrounding area into a kill zone.

Fury appears to even the odds somewhat by taking out an enemy helicopter, but something tells us this is where Gravik is going to go "Super Skrull" and unveil some hugely formidable new abilities.

Check out the teaser at the link below.

"In Marvel Studios’ new series Secret Invasion, set in the present day MCU, Nick Fury learns of a clandestine invasion of Earth by a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls. Fury joins his allies, including Everett Ross, Maria Hill and the Skrull Talos, who has made a life for himself on Earth. Together they race against time to thwart an imminent Skrull invasion and save humanity."

The series stars Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Cobie Smulders, Martin Freeman, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Charlayne Woodard, Killian Scott, Samuel Adewunmi, Dermot Mulroney, Christopher McDonald, Katie Finneran, with Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, and Don Cheadle.

Ali Selim directs and executive-produces, along with fellow executive producers Kevin Feige, Jonathan Schwartz, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Samuel L. Jackson, Ali Selim, Kyle Bradstreet and Brian Tucker. Kyle Bradstreet is also the head writer, and Jennifer L. Booth, Allana Williams and Brant Englestein serve as co-executive producers.

Looks like they kicked it up a notch from the last couple episodes.

Gravik and Killmonger share the same exact ideals. They both want something they were never promised. And use narcissistic methods to get what they want. They are glorified racists who thrive on doing the exact thing they claimed their enemies did. The difference though is that Gravik wants to kill an entire race while Killmonger wanted to enslave them. But their ignorance and selfishness will forever be their downfalls.

@SonOfAGif - wait…. What? I can see the comparison between the two but when did killmonger want to enslave any race? And gravik isn’t out against one race he’s against a species. If anything that’s speciesism.

Prediction - Kingsley Ben-Adir is going to blow up after that Bob Marley biopic comes out next year.

@mountainman - I hope so. Just saw the trailer the other day and said "Hey, don't trust that guy. That's not Bob, that's a Skrull" But seriously he's my favorite part of the show. Never heard of him before Secret Invasion, but he's really good. I had no idea they were even making the Bob Marley film. He's gonna knock it out of the park.

It's funny how he has such a chilling, cold look in his eyes as Gravik, and then you see him as Marley and that inner light that Marley had shines through. That's called ACTING baby!

@mountainman - I can see it. Haven't really seen him in anything prior to SI, but he and Ben Mendelsohn absolutely stole the last episode with the dining room confrontation. Kingsley showed some really good chops.

@DarthOmega @TheWinkler - When I first watched the trailer, it bothered me that he didn’t look enough like Bob. But by the end of it, I was sold.

I think Marley is one of the most important people of the 20th century and this movie, and Ben-Adir’s performance look like they will be something special.

Michael B. Jordan: To prepare for the role, Jordan studied Malcolm X, Marcus Garvey, Huey P. Newton, Fred Hampton, and Tupac Shakur. He also cited Heath Ledger's portrayal of the Joker in The Dark Knight (2008) as an influence. Jordan had wanted to play a villain for "a while" and likened Killmonger and T'Challa's relationship to the X-Men characters Magneto and Professor X. He added that Killmonger is strategic, thoughtful, patient, and "trained to a T."

This show is a slow burn, but I am here for it. I hope some of this darker undertone carries into other projects in the future.
