Disney+ debuted the first trailer for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law earlier this week, and the official HBO Max Brasil Twitter account has now shared a post which is clearly taking the piss out of the CGI.

The first trailer for Marvel Studios' latest Disney+ series, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, debuted online this past Tuesday, and while there was a lot to like about the fun teaser, the slightly dodgy VFX came in for a bit of ridicule.

Though the Emerald Amazon looked fine in some shots, others did not do the character justice, and the internet is now a flood of memes comparing the CGI creation to Shrek's Princess Fiona.

It's all in good fun, and we're sure She-Hulk will look at least somewhat better by the time the show premieres, but the official HBO Max Brasil Twitter account appears to have used the opportunity to throw a little shade at the trailer with the following post.

Again, we're sure it's only a good-natured jab, but the Tweet has (inevitably) ignited a bit of a Marvel vs. DC "debate" on social media.

What did you guys make of She-Hulk's character design? Did the FX stand out to you as being particularly shoddy? Have another look at the trailer below, and be sure to share your thoughts in the comments section.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law follows Jennifer Walters as she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk. The nine-episode series welcomes a host of MCU vets, including Mark Ruffalo as Smart Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/the Abomination, and Benedict Wong as Wong. The cast also includes Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass and Renée Elise Goldsberry. Executive producers are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Kat Coiro and Jessica Gao. Co-executive producers are Wendy Jacobson and Jennifer Booth.

Sure, the CGI looks a little rough in some spots, but it’s not due out until August. I liked the first trailer. I’ll definitely check this out.

@ProudPatriot76 - Honestly I’ve been hella critical of basically every Marvel thing that’s come out in Phase 4, but I’ve really got no complaints for this show just from the trailer. The CGI legitimately isn’t bad, it just needs a little polish.

@ProudPatriot76 - maybe but cgi doesn’t make something bad and good with ratings find out after first episode if it’s good

@dragon316 - Bad CG CAN absolutely make something bad.

Worst offense I can think of, probably too much for you to handle, but the last episode featuring Livia on The Sopranos. Nancy Marchand, the actress who played her, passed away and instead of not showing her at all, they used a body double and CG’d the face with footage they had of Nancy. It’s so bizarre and off-putting and immediately obvious, it takes you out the scene entirely.

General rule of thumb: good cg will go by naturally. Bad cg can ruin the flow and take the audience out the story. And that absolutely can affect one’s thoughts on the rest of the pacing and production.

@ProudPatriot76 - They said the same thing about Black Panther, and look how that turned out. LOL

@ProudPatriot76 - Most everything that Marvel has put out (or most any other company) has had some wonky CGI... i would assume that it will be minimal screentime and/or not detract from the story overall. That has been the case for the movies/TV so far. And yes, there is time to fix it.
I would note, much of the facial issues are that they are 'flat' at times not unlike the first appearance of Skywalker in the Mandalorian.

I know we have come far enough Hulk wise for the CGI to pass as good enough, the she hull CGI is not bad at all considering it’s a blend of the actress and a 7 foot tall muscular green woman the cgi in the trailer didn’t bother me at all

@ModHaterSLADE - The CGI was worse than CW level. What the hell are you talking about? 😂
