A new TV spot for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has been released, featuring more never-before-seen footage from the Disney+ series. Jennifer Walters clearly isn't overjoyed with her newfound powers and wants to continue being a lawyer instead of heading down the same superhero route as her famous cousin (who's now being referred to as "He-Hulk" on social media).
Something tells us Jennifer will have embraced her sensational new destiny as the heroic She-Hulk once all is said and done, and based on past experience, she probably won't "suit up" until nearer the finale.
The relationship between Jennifer and Bruce Banner looks set to be a highlight, and during an interview with Screen Rant last month, star Tatiana Maslany teased how that dynamic will play out. "They're cousins, obviously. Bruce basically tries to take Jen under his wing and teach her how to be a Hulk, and Jen's like, 'Go away. Stop, I'm not going to be a superhero.'"
"There's an antagonistic thing they have. They love each other very much, and they're actually very close, but this is a bridge too far," the actor continued. "She's not interested in this. It was really fun to play that dynamic with Mark."
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law follows the hero as she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk.
The nine-episode series welcomes a host of MCU vets, including Mark Ruffalo as Smart Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/the Abomination, and Benedict Wong as Wong. Along with Matthews, the supporting cast also includes Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass, and Renée Elise Goldsberry.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premieres on Disney+ on Thursday, August 18.
