The first She-Hulk: Attorney at Law trailer pointed to a series that will be a worthy MCU introduction for the sensational superhero. However, fans couldn't help but notice what looked like unfinished or poor visual effects on the title hero, and a lot of unflattering comparisons were made (including The Polar Express and even Pip the Troll's disappointing appearance in Eternals last year).
We suspected that the visuals were a far cry from what we'll see this August, and that's now been confirmed by an updated version of that trailer recently uploaded to Disney+.
As you can see in the side-by-side photos below, She-Hulk's face now looks far more detailed and realistic. There's more texture and less of an uncanny valley effect, and even the hero's eyes and hair seem to have been improved. The visuals are in line with what we've come to expect from Mark Ruffalo's Hulk in the MCU, and that's all fans were really hoping for from Jennifer Walters' live-action debut.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law follows the hero as she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk. The nine-episode series welcomes a host of MCU vets, including Mark Ruffalo as Smart Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/the Abomination, and Benedict Wong as Wong. The cast also includes Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass, and Renée Elise Goldsberry.
The series premieres on Disney+ on August 17.
