There's a lot of excitement for She-Hulk, especially with rumours swirling that the series will be vastly different to anything we've seen from Marvel Studios before now. While we've been expecting to see the show hit Disney+ sometime this year, a recent blog post from the official Disney+ website in the UK has seemingly confirmed that it will head our way on Wednesday, August 17.
With that news comes a brief synopsis confirming a few previously reported details about the show and the rumor that, yes, She-Hulk is seemingly going to be a full-blown comedy series.
"This new comedy series sees Bruce Banner help his cousin, Jennifer Walters, when she needs an emergency blood transfusion and guess what? She receives his powers too," it reads. "Tatiana Maslany will play Jennifer, who is a lawyer specialising in superhuman-oriented legal cases. Mark Ruffalo is back as the Hulk alongside Tim Roth, who plays the Abomination."
While websites like this have been known to make mistakes, the post has now been edited to remove any mention of She-Hulk. Secret Invasion and Ironheart are listed with "TBC" release dates, but someone at the studio has clearly panicked and just decided to delete the entire entry about Jennifer Walters' Marvel Cinematic Universe debut. Hopefully, this will prompt an official announcement.
She-Hulk could be a game-changing project for the MCU, especially if we're going to see Bruce Banner pass the baton to his cousin. However, it's the rumblings that Charlie Cox will return as Daredevil that has fans perhaps most excited, especially after his Spider-Man: No Way Home cameo.
As noted, it looks like She-Hulk will arrive on Disney+ on August 17.
