One of WandaVision's biggest surprises saw Dark Phoenix star Evan Peters reprise the role of Quicksilver, albeit the Marvel Cinematic Universe's version (who had previously been portrayed by Aaron Taylor-Johnson). This led to speculation relating to everything from the Multiverse to Mephisto, but the truth was that "Pietro Maximoff" was, in fact, out-of-work actor Ralph Bohner.
Upon arriving in Westview, Agatha Harkness took control of Ralph and decided to make him pose as Pietro in a bid to learn how Wanda had taken over the New Jersey town.
Now, WandaVision star Teyonah Parris has revealed that "Ralph Bohner" wasn't the only name thrown around on set. "Even on the day there was another option. I might have said it for the camera. They’re like, ‘Just throw this in, just in case,’ but I can’t remember what it was."
"None topped Bohner, I’ll tell you that," she added. "That was very like, ‘Okay! We’re going for the Bohner!’"
We can't help but wish that one of those alternate names had been Simon Williams, as that could have opened the door to Peters returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Wonder Man.
As things stand, his time in this shared world is already at an end, as is Quicksilver's. At this point, there's no way that character is going to return, and Taylor-Johnson's Pietro certainly won't be resurrected considering he was recently cast in Sony Pictures Kraven the Hunter!
