Entertainment Weekly pulled back the curtain on Marvel's WandaVision earlier today following last night's cover reveal, and the mag has now shared two more official stills from the upcoming Disney+ series.
While the first batch of images mostly focused on titular Avengers Scarlet Witch (Elisabeth Olsen) and The Vision (Paul Bettany) in their surreal, '50s sitcom-style reality, these latest shots provide new looks at two of the show's supporting characters.
Teyonah Parris (If Beale Street Could Talk, Candyman) will appear as an older version of Monica Rambeau, who we first met as a child in Captain Marvel. We're still not sure how she'll factor into the plot, but some recent set photos seemed to suggest that Rambeau will become a member of S.H.I.E.L.D. splinter group/replacemnet, S.W.O.R.D. (Sentient World Observation and Response Department).
The identity of Kathryn Hahn's (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse) character is being kept under wraps, but there's a good chance she's playing a powerful witch known as Agatha Harkness, who has been rumored to be a part of the show for quite a while. Harkness is also likely to have something to do with the strange predicament Vision and Wanda find themselves in.
Welcome to WandaVision. Coming soon to Disney+. Marvel Studios' captivating new series "WandaVision" stars Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, and marks the first series from Marvel Studios streaming exclusively on Disney+. The series is a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision—two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.
WandaVision still doesn't have a premiere date, but we're expecting an announcement fairly soon, so keep an eye out for updates.
