2005's House of M is still one of the most talked-about Marvel Comics arcs, and there's a lot of speculation that at least some elements of the story will influence the events that are currently playing out in Disney+'s WandaVision.
We've already seen certain aspects come into play (the birth of the twins, Wanda seemingly losing touch with reality), and based on what we've seen from the various trailers and promos, The Scarlet Witch is going to emerge as the villain of the piece (or one of them, at any rate).
A resurfaced Avengers: Age of Ultron interview with Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Johnson has been doing the rounds online, and the former's response when asked if there were any particular Scarlet Witch storylines she'd like to see adapted for the MCU is very interesting indeed.
This doesn't mean we'll definitely see more House of M influences moving forward, of course, but the stuff about the twins and Wanda losing her mind certainly seems to be an intriguing bit of foreshadowing.
House of M famously saw Wanda decimate Earth's mutant population by uttering "no more mutants," but could we somehow see the reverse happen on WandaVision, with the increasingly unstable Avenger's breakdown leading to the creation of the children of the atom?
That's one theory. Be sure to share your own with us in the comments, and tune in to Disney+ tomorrow for a brand new episode.
