WandaVision won three Emmys earlier this year, but there's still time for the Marvel Studios series to pick up more awards. It's been revealed that "Agatha All Along" has received a Grammy nomination for Best Song Written for Visual Media (the winners will be announced on January 31, 2022 on CBS).
In the seventh episode of WandaVision, Kathryn Hahn performed the song when it was revealed that nosy neighbour Agnes was, in fact, the villainous Agatha Harkness.
Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, who penned the Oscar-winning songs from Frozen and Coco, collaborated on this song, and you have to believe it stands a good chance of winning. At the Emmys, it walked away with the "Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics" award. However, it's also worth noting that "Agatha All Along" will face some stiff competition.
Also nominated are "All Eyes on Me" from Bo Burnham: Inside, "All I Know So Far" from P!NK: All I Know So Far, "Fight For You" from Judas and the Black Messiah, "Here I Am (Singing My Way Home)" from Respect, and "Speak Now" from One Night in Miami. This is the first time in eight years a song from a TV show has been recognised in this category.
