The Shannara Chronicles airs Tuesdays at 10/9c on MTV.

‘The Shannara Chronicles’ is a new TV series based on the best-selling fantasy novels by Terry Brooks. Set thousands of years after the destruction of our civilization, the story follows an Elven Princess, Amberle, a half-human half-elf, Wil, and a human, Eretria, as they embark on a quest to stop a Demon army from destroying the Four Lands.

I actually had low expectations for this but darn! The thing is good! You should check it even just to see by yourself.

I was surprised how great the show is. It is great Manu who played Deathstroke in Arrow is in the show. It feels like a Lord of the Ring type show and it even has a fellow LOTR cast member too. I am also happy the effects in it are great. The best part of this show it doesn't look or feel like a MTV show.
