I freaking love The Cape. The show is already topping the list of some of my all time favorites. Shows like this one, No Ordinary Family, Eastbound and Down, and a few others are really starting to impress me with the things they are doing.

Also, Orwell is freaking beautiful. She is definitely one of the best things going for The Cape. ;) Scales is pretty badass too, one of the most intriguing characters in a long time. I love the unique style the villains bring, really gives them an obscure, Batman-like rogues gallery. I think the whole 'Tarot' thing is gonna play a huge role in the collection of villains to come in this. I would love to see an elusive "ghost"-like villain on the show, someone tricky to move around like The Cape, but playing off a more theatrically spooky thing then we've seen before.

Everything I have seen on this show looks great! Sadly I will have to wait a while before I get to watch it.

i really think this show is getting pretty good... they just need to cut down the stupid can't happen stuff... such as:

1. the cape jumping off of a 20 foot or taller building, and landing on a car with only minor injury's
2. cain getting down the stairs in like 20 seconds or less to try to catch him...
3. i think holograms will be in the near future, but this is a very much a show in our time, (not a super universe like MCU) so i thought that the holograms were a bit much...
4. the action needs to get better... but i think it will as the cape gets experience... which is a very cool story... if that is the case...

still with just those things wrong with it that's not bad... IMO...

awesome show again! can't wait 4 this 1!

This is just a poorly crafted, poorly conceived, poorly plotted, poorly edited, poorly acted, poorly written, unorginal, derivative, sorry excuse for a show.

also the FX are bad

A midget can beat up Vinnie Jones who is holding a pistol and just doesn't bother to use it?

For some reason, a private police officer's badge can access every bank vault in the city?

Nobody can figure out that the bank robbers who all dress as carnival freaks might be carnies?

The EXTREMELY AWFUL scene where Vince prances around with a cape that he finds lying around. WTF??

Yeah, right, carnival people just hang out wearing their carnie get-ups all day long. Sure.

Spider silk is stronger than kevlar?

The Cape's big test of physical prowess is . . . beating up a midget????

Is that thing that the guy who plays Chess is doing supposed to be called acting?

The mayor can just DECIDE to privatize the police force of a major metropolitan city?!?!?!

Orwell not nude???

It looks like they took the first five episodes that they shot and cobbled them together and called it a premiere movie.

Also, what otherside said.

This show COULD be good. The lead actor and Summer Glau are pretty damn good. It needs a lot of work though. Please PLEASE learn from the mistakes that HEROES made and clean this show up, it has some potential.

lilej2-harsh words....wow. anyway like i said this show is really really bad. i like cheesy like say Starship Troopers was cheesy or Deep Blue Sea was cheesy. This is almost like watching Power Rangers or The Spirit. I was at my local comic shop today and everyone agreed how unwatchable it was. Give me more quality programming like Walking Dead, Spartacus, and Dexter.

Nah Lilej2 has been around for a while. He began a crusade against me because I gave Gi Joe a bad review. Yes, the idiot questioning my taste is a fan of that particular cinematic dog turd.

I still haven't watched this because it looks and sounds crap. Maybe it isn't, but they just didn't sell me with their "dad dresses as his kid's favourite superhero" crap. So, what? Does everyone assume that the comic character sprang from the page into real life or something?
