Okay, I don't weather you guys liked this show or not... the main thing is it isn't a very good show, the bad acting, cheesiness, etc. was enough to make anyone skip watching it. The main thing is it has great potential.

Please, people rate this show higher as if it had a season two it would be very good. Already if you watch the three latest episodes you'll see what I mean... it's not great but it does have potential. A few things they need to do though:

1. Make the Cape not show his face to almost every villain!
2. Kill the Mom. I hate killing off characters but in this case it needs to happen. She goes from bad acting to worse acting... she is probably the least interesting of the main characters so I don't think anyone will miss her. The Mom's boss can adopt the Cape's kid.
3. Make the Cape a bit darker... this would come naturally I think with the killing of the Mom.
4. The Circus of Crime needs to either be good or bad... antagonists or protagonists, not in between.

After they fixed these points I think it would be good by a third season it would be perfect. Also, I was slightly let down by another point in the show as I think most were, it's not grounded in reality. From holograms to guys jumping off of buildings, to deadly poisons not taking affect for hours, reality isn't going to be in this show. I look at it as sort of a Batman: Arkham Asylum reality, some reality and fiction. If you look at it as this I doubt you'll have as many problems with the show.

Anyway, so that's what I think of it.

My advice for everyone is: rate it good, but don't watch it till a second season. If it gets a second season, start watching it because I think by that time, it will be very good.

NUFF SAID!

I say kill the kid he is the worst part of the show. The scenes with the kid are just awkward and he is the worst actor on the show not the mom. Plus killing the kid is a better way of making it darker then just killing the mom.

well IMO the kid is the whole thing about the show, it's like having spiderman without peter parker, or batman without bruce wayne etc. the mom IMO would be enough...

@otherside no because the kid is shit watching him is like watching a bad acted kid show on the Disney or ABC Family channel. And it is not the same as you said because you named the alter ego of those heroes the kid is not the alter ego of the Cape. The scenes with the kid are horrible at least the scenes with the mom working for the DA are watchable. Also I am fine with the "Carnival of Crime" (you got the name wrong) being in the gray area it makes it more interesting. If they were good then they would be boring and bad then the Cape could not work with them.

well try it out again tea! it's watchable

@Destroyer14 thanks!

@Dmon well, for a kid IMO he doesn't do too bad... so it's not a big thing to me, the mother i think would be good to kill off as it would affect both the boy and the cape, and so hopefully both would have better performances... oops sorry about the name being wrong... i understand that but i'd prefer them to be villains as they aren't as interesting characters just being protagonists... i like them teaching the cape their tricks in someways but i'd like him to move off from just them telling him how to be the cape, i want him to be the cape, and work a bit more alone besides Orwell...

@everyone thanks for the comments! and remember go rate it so we can get a second season!

I have to say I've loved this show and have eaten it up. I am a true fan of the comic genre. I love the escapism of comics and the over the top villains its what I love about comics. Its like a good mix of DC comics and Dick Tracy. I have liked the actors and Max and The Carnival are using Vince for some nefarious scheme of there own and if it goes to a second season which I am sad to say I doubt then we would find out what that scheme was. The boy and the wife are needed to be The Capes anchors. There his last attachment to reality. It would be like if you killed off Lois Lane and Perry White/or Jimmy Olson, Superman just wouldn't be the same. The give him his balance. If your focused only on the acting then no this show isnt for you but if you love comics especially the old comics which were over the top and not based in reality then you will love this show. I bet you guys are not Dick Tracy fans if you were you would like the over the topness of this show.
