Gal Gadot & Alia Bhatt Team-Up In The First Official Look At Netflix Actioner HEART OF STONE

Netflix has released a first look featurette for their upcoming spy thriller, Heart of Stone, which stars Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Alia Bhatt (Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva), and Jamie Dornan (Belfast).

Netflix has revealed the first official look at upcoming spy action thriller Heart of Stone, which stars Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman; Justice League) as a CIA agent named Rachel Stone, who is described as the only woman who stands between her powerful, global, peace-keeping organization and the loss of its most valuable - and dangerous - asset.

Netflix has high hopes for this 2023 release, as it's expected to launch a globe-trotting franchise in the same vein as Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible series, which is, of course, easier said than done. But Netflix has lined up a pair of huge stars to launch this film, so it's likely it will attract plenty of eyeballs.

Joining Gadot is Bollywood megastar Alia Bhatt, who is making her Hollywood debut in the film as an Indian agent named Keya Dhawan, and a supporting cast consisting of Jamie Dornan, Sophie Okonedo, Matthias Schweighöfer, Jing Lusi, Paul Ready, Jon Kortajarena, Matteo Cicconi, and Angela Esposito.

Tom Harper (The AeronautsPeaky Blinders) is on directing duties, utilizing a screenplay from Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder.
