STRANGER THINGS: Barb Is Finally Getting A LEGO Minifigure, But It's Exclusive To San Diego Comic-Con

Everyone's favorite annoying best friend, Barb, is finally getting the LEGO minifigure treatment she deserves, but you'll have to attend San Diego Comic-Con to get your hands on this exclusive collectible.

The recently released LEGO Stranger Things playset of a small scale Byers house (and its Upside Down version) included eight minifigs. Missing from the set, however, was the fan-favorite Barb. Well, it seems that Netflix and LEGO have finally found her!

LEGO officially unveiled today a Barb minifigure, complete with her mom shirt and thick-rimmed glasses. As if she wouldn't be in demand enough, the minifig will unfortunately be exclusive to San Diego Comic-Con, which means you'll either have to attend the convention next week or pay a hefty price from a second-hand seller online.

Despite being killed off unceremoniously early on in season one of the show, Barb became an instant cult icon - spawning murals, GIFs, and listicles - and a symbol for friendship. While her disappearance in the first season was pretty much swept under the rug, Matt and Ross Duffer finally gave Barb, her friends, and her family some closure in season two.

Stranger Things Season 3 debuted on Netflix this month, breaking multiple viewership records for the streaming service.

Still not sure how Stranger Things got a Lego theme. Lego never give shows with adult content a theme. That's why there will never be Lego Family Guy, Firefly, ect. How is Stranger Things any less adult that those? Lego insists that all content they license must be suitable for everyone over 12-13 or something like that.

@Nightwing1015 - Because the show is still TV-14 and it's really popular. They know kids watch the show. I always hoped for them, but I still never thought they'd make Lego Simpsons sets. As long as a property is neither R nor TV-MA, there's a good chance Lego could make a set out of it.

Season 1- Barb....
Season 2- Bob....
Season 3- Billy....

Names beginning with B are basically the Star Trek “red shirts” of this show.
