In 2019,
Stranger Things fans will return to Hawkins, Indiana (and the upside down) when the third season of the hit sci-fi series returns to Netflix. As we wrap up 2018 and prepare to enter the new year, the streaming service has given fans something to think about.
A new teaser trailer for the highly anticipated third season was released today, but don't get too excited. The teaser didn't offer us any actual footage from the new season; but, it did reveal the titles of all eight episodes, backed by the show's trademark synth intro and neon red lights.
For those of you die-hard enthusiasts who enjoy coming up with your own theories ahead of time, here are the episode titles you have to think about: “Suzie, Do You Copy?”, “The Mall Rats”, “The Case of the Missing Lifeguard”, “The Sauna Test”, “The Source”, “The Birthday”, “The Bite”, and “The Battle of Starcourt."
The video, which you can watch below, teases: "In the summer of 1985, the adventure continues..."
There's only so much to take away from the titles themselves, but it certainly sounds like the Starcourt Mall will come into play as a major setting for the upcoming season. The new location
was featured in the very first teaser for Stranger Things Season 3, which also featured Steve Harrington (Joe Keery) working at an ice-cream store alongside
series newcomer Robin (Maya Hawke).
Unfortunately, Netflix didn't reveal a specific premiere date, only teasing that
Stranger Things will return to the streaming service in 2019.
