Near the end of last month, Netflix announced the start of production on Season 3 of its hit show Stranger Things, with a large cast consisting of new and returning members. Now, a brand-new actress has already joined the impressive ensemble.
As reported by The Hashtag Show Francesca Reale, who recently starred in one of Netflix’s other series Haters Back Off before its cancellation, will be joining the series along with plenty of other new actors.
Little is known about the character's role in the story, but Variety notes that the name of Reale's character is Heather and adds that the character will be a popular lifeguard at one of Hawkins' community pools. Also, the site states Reale's character will “become the center piece of a dark mystery” within the show.
What this dark mystery will be is still unclear, but we can be certain that Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and her friends will find themselves directly involved with whatever threat comes to their small town of Hawkins.
