Netflix's new aftershow for their hit series Stranger Things has brought to light some interesting revelations about the cast and crew, from where the Duffer brothers drew inspiration for the new season to some fun behind the scenes stories.

One of the best moments of Beyond Stranger Things can be found in the first episode, where actors Finn Wolfhard and Millie Bobby Brown, director Shawn Levy, and creators Matt and Ross Duffer were shown the cast's first audition tapes for the series.

The result was as hilarious as you'd expect.

“It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.”

@pitbull76 - Its a great show and such a treat for me because I was the same age as them back in the 80's and I get to see all of my favorite 80's kid stars back on the screen, but this time as parents.

The writing, directing, acting, are solid. I love the 80s synth keyboard music too. Great show!

@rsahadi - Check out the band, S U R V I V E, yes that's how they spell it. It's the band of the two guys that do the music on the show. Their music is equally as good and what got the Duffers to ask them to do the score for the show.

As soon as Sean Astin showed up all I could think was "Please don't make Rudy a bad guy."

@blackandyellow - Never seen Rudy, but I know what you mean. His character just oozed cheesy goodness. He may not have understood everything at play, but he wanted to help the family however he could. Not the most complicated character, but he didn't need to be.

@blackandyellow - I called his fate by the second episode. Winona's character can't get a break.

Hopefully the third season will be better than the second, because I personally forced myself to finish it.

That being said I'd like to see Gaten Matarazzo play Billy Batson in Shazam.
