Netflix announced today that The Adam Project, an upcoming sci-fi film directed by Academy Award-nominee Shawn Levy (Free Guy; Real Steel), will officially premiere on March 11.
The film will reteam Levy with his Free Guy star Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool; Deadpool 2), who will headline the feature as Adam, a time-traveling pilot who joins forces with his younger self and his late father to come to terms with his past while saving the future.
Newcomer Walker Scobell will portray the young Adam, while 3x Academy Award-nominee Mark Ruffalo (Avengers: Endgame; She-Hulk) and 4x Primetime Emmy-nominee Jennifer Garner (Alias; Daredevil) will portray his father and mother. Fellow Marvel star Zoe Saldana (Guardians of the Galaxy; Avengers: Endgame), Alex Mallari Jr. (Ginny & Georgia; Dark Matter), and 2x Academy Award-nominee Catherine Keener (Kidding; Being John Malkovich) round out the cast.
With a release date announcement, expect an official trailer to arrive fairly soon.
