Today, the online streaming giant has revealed both an awesome new trailer and the show's premiere date: December 20th. That's right,
The Witcher will be going head to head with
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. It's a ballsy move on their part, but one which could pay off.
In this take on the beloved property, "Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts. But when destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress, and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three must learn to navigate the increasingly volatile Continent together."
