Fan-favorite bounty hunter Boba Fett made his long-awaited return to the galaxy far, far away during the second season of The Mandalorian, and the legendary Star Wars villain-turned antihero will soon put Tatooine's criminal underworld on notice when he claims the spotlight for his own Disney+ spinoff show.
The Book of Boba Fett is set to premiere on the streaming service on December 29, and a new promo banner has now been revealed via the official Disney+ UK website.
The image shows Fett (Temuera Morrison) and fellow mercenary Fennec Shand (Ming Na Wen) standing at the ready in Jabba's throne room. There's been some speculation that other characters have been digitally removed from the left side of the banner, but it's far more likely that this space has been reserved so that the Disney+ logo and info can be added later.

The trailer did shed a little more light on what fans can expect, but we still don't know a whole lot about The Book of Boba Fett. The Mandalorian season 2 finale post-credits scene saw the infamous bounty hunter arrive to Jabba the Hutt's palace on Tatooine along with Shand. After dispatching Bib Fortuna, Fett seemingly claimed Jabba's throne for himself, hinting that he also plans to take over the notorious gangster's crime syndicate.
Jon Favreau will produce TBOBF along with Dave Filoni and Robert Rodriguez, who helmed the Fett-centric chapter of The Mandalorian, "The Tragedy."
