THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT Easter Egg May Reveal The Show's True Villains - Possible SPOILERS

The first episode of The Book of Boba Fett felt more like a prologue than anything else, but a newly surfaced Easter Egg from "Stranger In A Strange Place" appears to tease the threat Lord Fett will face.

Yesterday, Disney released Ludwig Göransson's "Main Theme" for The Book of Boba Fett. It's a terrific piece of music (you can listen to it here), but upon closer inspection, it may feature a huge tease about what's to come in this series. Starting at the 1:49 mark, the Crimson Dawn theme from Solo: A Star Wars Story can quite clearly be heard.

This piece was composed by John Powell (with help from John Williams), and could be confirmation that Emilia Clarke will reprise the role of Qi'ra in the Disney+ show. Failing that, it seems likely we'll see the return of other Crimson Dawn members to plague Lord Fett as he attempts to gain control of Tatooine.

Maul may be dead (he was killed in Star Wars Rebels), but his ties to the Mandalorians and Tatooine would be easy to pick up on here. Fett even has a history with Qi'ra after the recent Marvel Comics "War of the Bounty Hunters" event that saw Han Solo, frozen in Carbonite at the time, stolen from the bounty hunter. Fett ultimately infiltrated Crimson Dawn and learned Qi'ra was responsible.

He'd eventually retrieve Solo, but not before vowing to kill Han's first love. They've not crossed paths on the page since, so a clash in The Book of Boba Fett is a strong possibility.

That wasn't the Crimson Dawn logo those thugs burned into the homestead they attacked in the post-Return of the Jedi flashbacks, but what we see in the past doesn't necessarily have to factor into the present day. There, Fett was attacked by assassins who might just be reporting to Qi'ra...

And as for Kira and the Crimson Dawn, cool. I wouldn't mind if several elements from Solo were brought into this. Han was the only problem with Solo, and it wasn't Aldens fault. You can't recast Han unless he's literally a Kid. Teen or young adult Han needs to be Ford, plain and simple. Some performances are just too iconic to recast without rebooting, in my opinion.

So if they wanna cherry pick from the better parts of Solo, I say go for it!

Congrats again to Abrams, Johnson, and Kennedy, for their hard work on ensuring that a franchise with near endless possibilities can only look backwards for the foreseeable future!

I have been trying to remember when a Stormtrooper would have fallen into the Sarlac Pit, have we ever seen that or do we come to our own conclusions of why the Stormtrooper was in there?

@Coach - I just figured it could have been a sandtrooper who walked too far off the line.

@Coach - ROTJ establishes that Sarlaac digestion is a thousand year process, therefore that trooper conceivably could have fallen in there when Vader’s troops were scouring the sands of Tatooine looking for R2 and C3PO.
