The first chapter of The Book of Boba Fett hit Disney+ this morning, and while there may not have been an internet-breaking reveal on the same level as The Child, we do have lots to discuss!
This first batch of spoiler stills from "Stranger in a Strange Land" don't give too much away if you haven't had a chance to tune in yet, though we do see plenty more of Fett and master assassin Fennec Shand on Tatooine. They're attempting to pick up where Jabba the Hutt and Bib Fortuna left off, but that's not going to be easy, especially with Mos Espa's Mayor opposing Fett's rule.
That character's identity hasn't been revealed yet, though there are plenty of theories doing the rounds online. He (or she) certainly sounds villainous in nature, and could be a new creation or a familiar face from the past. If it's the latter, then they might be from the Expanded Universe canon, another story that's been told in the comic books, or even something like The Clone Wars.
We'll have to wait and see, but the series is clearly taking a slow burn approach with The Book of Boba Fett's story.
