The Mandalorian spinoff, The Book of Boba Fett, is set to premiere on Disney+ this December, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. alum Ming-Na Wen has taken to Twitter to share a new still from the latest issue of Empire.
The image sees the legendary bounty hunter of the title alongside Wen's fellow mercenary Fennec Shand in a pose that somewhat mirrors a scene from Return of the Jedi with Jabba the Hutt and his majordomo Bib Fortuna.
In related news, the magazine has also revealed the names of two more directors who worked on the show, with Steph Green (HBO's Watchmen, The Americans) and Kevin Tancharoen (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) joining the previously announced Robert Rodriguez, Dave Filoni and Bryce Dallas Howard.
Check out the still below along with the recently released teaser, and keep an eye out for a full trailer over the next couple of weeks.
The trailer did shed a little more light on what fans can expect, but we still don't know a whole lot about The Book of Boba Fett. The Mandalorian season 2 finale post-credits scene saw the infamous bounty hunter arrive to Jabba the Hutt's palace on Tatooine along with Shand. After dispatching Bib Fortuna, Fett seemingly claimed Jabba's throne for himself, hinting that he also plans to take over the notorious gangster's crime syndicate.
Jon Favreau will produce TBOBF along with Dave Filoni and Robert Rodriguez, who helmed the Fett-centric chapter of The Mandalorian, "The Tragedy."
