Earlier today, Disney and Lucasfilm released the first trailer for The Book of Boba Fett (you can watch it by clicking here). Despite an odd ending to the sneak peek, the response from fans has been a positive one, especially as there's a lot of excitement at the prospect of exploring the Star Wars Underworld.
That's a side of this Galaxy Far, Far Away we rarely get to delve into, and watching Fett attempt to make Tatooine a better place under his rule promises to be a Star Wars story like no other.
There are no major reveals in these stills from The Book of Boba Fett as Disney+ has basically just released half a dozen hi-res screenshots. They do offer a slightly closer look at the action, though, and the unique side of the iconic planet we'll get to explore alongside the beloved bounty hunter.
The series finds Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.
The series stars Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen. Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson are the executive producers. Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck serve as co-executive producers, with John Bartnicki producing and John Hampian as co-producer.
The Book of Boba Fett arrives on Disney+ on December 29.
