Comic-Con is well underway in San Diego, and while Star Wars won't have much of a presence at the event, Lucasfilm has brought some costumes from Andor to share with fans.

The outfits are accompanied by descriptions that shed a little more light on what we can expect from the Disney+ series. First up (via SFFGazette.com) is the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story spinoff's lead, and it's said that "As part of his entry into the growing rebellion, Cassian Andor must undertake a dangerous mission on Aldhani."

As for the droid who was recently revealed in an upcoming Black Series action figure set, "B2EM0 -- or Bee-two or more simply, Bee -- is a very old and weary groundmech salvage assist unit that's been towing scrap for the Andor family for years. The droid has a wide array of mechanical tools and various capabilities to meet the functions required."

Finally, there's the returning Mon Mothma. Offering an idea of where we find her in this series, the description reveals that "The Imperial Senator from Chandrila, Mon Mothma carefully navigates the dangerous shadows of Coruscant in her efforts to build a rebellion."

We're definitely intrigued to see more from Andor and hope that a new trailer is imminent. The first season will be 12 episodes, so that means 12 weeks of new Star Wars content on Disney+ once it launches next month. Cassian Andor may not be Obi-Wan Kenobi, but it still feels like this will be a worthy era in this Galaxy Far, Far Away's history to explore in more depth.

Andor will explore a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It’s an era filled with danger, deception and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.

Diego Luna returns as Cassian Andor and is joined by cast members Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Denise Gough and Kyle Soller. The show premieres on Disney+ on August 31.

I'm surprised we're getting this, Andor and She-Hulk being released partially concurrently. Think we're gonna need more Wednesdays and Fridays each week.

Anyway, none of these descriptions sounds particularly interesting. B2 sounds like it could be a fun character. Kinda reminds me of Tala's Loader Droid, LB from Tales of the Borderlands and BT from Titanfall 2 for some reason.

@bkmeijer1 - I'm not surprised they are overlapping. That's inevitable as Disney+ continues to add more content.

I AM surprised though that we have a month gap between Ms. Marvel and the next Marvel/Star Wars show.

You'd think they'd want as few gaps as possible.

@thewanderer - "You would think they would want as few gaps as possible"

Yes, but they also added new shows and movies that are not Star Wars and Marvel MCU.

They just added the Deadpool films and Logan.

They are letting us catch our breath, and then we get more content.

@Timerider84 - right, I'm saying more along the lines of "a tv show with mass appeal" like they have with Marvel and Star Wars IP's.

@thewanderer - on the hand, I'm not that surprised either. Just expected one of each brand to run at the same time
