OBI-WAN KENOBI Official Watch List Includes Some Surprising Episodes Of THE CLONE WARS - Possible SPOILERS

The official watch list for Obi-Wan Kenobi includes a number of The Clone Wars episodes, but do they actually offer some potential spoilers for where the upcoming Disney+ series is heading?

Obi-Wan Kenobi is just a couple of days away from hitting Disney+, but you still have time to prepare for the series. The UK account for the streaming service has actually shared an official watch list (via SFFGazette.com) and, as you might expect, it includes The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith.

However, what's really interesting is seeing which episodes of The Clone Wars appear.

Along with the original movie, Season 2, Episode 12 ("The Mandalore Plot") through Season 2, Episode 16 ("Cat and Mouse") are listed, and these followed Obi-Wan as he attempted to prevent war on Mandalore. A key part of this arc, though, introduced us to Duchess Satine, a character we learned was once a romantic interest of the Jedi Knight's.

Will she appear in Obi-Wan Kenobi? It's not outside the realm of possibility, and the decision to include this particular batch of episodes is certainly intriguing.

Season 4, Episode 15 ("Deception") through Season 4, Episode 18 ("Crisis on Naboo") followed Obi-Wan after he fakes his own death for an undercover mission and marked a big falling out between Obi-Wan and Anakin Skywalker after the latter felt his Master has betrayed him by lying about his death. Finally, there's Season 5, Episode 14 ("Eminence") through Season 5, Episode 16 ("The Lawless"), a storyline that saw Obi-Wan look to protect Satine from some of his greatest foes.

There's a clear focus here on Satine, which is a surprise when there are many episodes of The Clone Wars that better explored Obi-Wan's dynamic with Anakin. Whether this means anything remains to be seen, but we're definitely looking forward to finding out.

The first two episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi hit Disney+ this Friday, May 27!
