We'd hoped to see Skeleton Crew on Disney+ before the end of 2023, though it's since become apparent the The Mandalorian spin-off won't be with us until 2024. As for The Acolyte, we haven't really heard anything since fans at Star Wars Celebration were treated to a trailer for the show back in April.

We're now expecting a mid-to-late 2024 debut for The High Republic show, and thanks to Bespin Bulletin (via SFFGazette.com), the full writing team for the series has today been revealed.

The premiere was penned by creator Leslye Headland (Russian Doll). As for episode two, Jason Milcallef and Charmaine De Grate collaborated on that second chapter, with the latter best known for her work on House of the Dragon, The 100, and Daisy Jones and the Six. As for Milcallef, he wrote Butter, Marcel, Marcel, and Heathers

Episode three features another duo with Jasmyne Flournoy (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) and Eileen Shim (Hand of God) teaming up for this instalment. The latter worked with Milcallef on Heathers, while Shim is another former House of the Dragon scribe.

The fourth chapter comes our way from Claire Kiechef and Kor Adana. The former's credits include Watchmen and The OA, while Adana's most noteworthy past project is Mr. Robot

Adana is back for episode five, this time with Cameron Squires (Agent Elvis). Squires was a staff writer on WandaVision, resulting in him being credited for all nine episodes of that Marvel Studios TV series.

Episode six sees Milcallef joined by Jocelyn Bioh, a writer on Headland's Russian Doll

Three scribes were tasked with the penultimate chapter as De Grate and Flournoy team up with actress and Threads scribe Jen Richards. As for the finale, Milcallef is back again, making him the most-credited writer on The Acolyte with a total of three episodes.

The Acolyte will take viewers into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark-side powers in the final days of the High Republic era with the story of former Padawan who reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes but discovers the forces they confront are more sinister than they ever anticipated.

The series stars Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Charlie Barnett, Jodie Turner-Smith, Rebecca Henderson, Dean-Charles Chapman, Carrie-Anne Moss, Margarita Levieva and Joonas Suotamo.

In addition to writing and directing, Leslye Headland serves as an executive producer with Kathleen Kennedy, Simon Emanuel, Jeff F. King and Jason Micallef. Rayne Roberts and Damian Anderson produce.

The Acolyte is currently expected to premiere on Disney+ in 2024.

"We'd hoped to see Skeleton Crew on Disney+ before the end of 2023" - Who are "We"" or is that a new pronoun we need to know about that doesn't mean what it actually means?

So Disney is still going ahead with the show created by the woman that helped Harvey Weinstein for years and who introduced him to numerous young girls looking for a big Hollywood break. I won't ever support anything by her or anyone that supported or helped allow Harvey to be a predator for all those years. Disney should be ashamed of themselves. The already literally thanked a slave camp in China and now they are working with a monster. Disgusting!

This show really pulls writers from all over. Worked on quite different shows imo.

House of the Dragon is the most interesting to me though, as a show like that in the Star Wars universe could be really intriguing. And the High Republic is a good setting for that.

@marvel72 - fully expecting it to trash the lore further based on the showrunner and cast interviews.

I miss the aggressive aesthetics of characters in the expanded universe like Darth Talon, Darth Revan and more. this disney universe is just bland forgettable designs.
