As per usual, Disney+ has released a new character poster for The Book of Boba Fett, this time spotlighting the unnamed body modification artist who saved Fennec Shand after she was left for dead during the events of The Mandalorian.

The character was actually played by Grammy Award-winning musician Thundercat (credited as Stephen “Thundercat” Brunner), who made his acting debut in the Star Wars series. We can't imagine there'll be any reason for this guy to show up again (unless Fett's hover-bike gang are going to need a few upgrades), but it was a fun cameo for the multi-talented artist.

Check out Thundercat's poster below.

The show has received something of a mixed response from fans so far, but it looks like things are about to kick up a few gears as we head into the final few episodes. "The Gathering Storm" marked the end of those Bacta Tank flashbacks, with Fennec and Boba preparing to face-off against the Pyke Syndicate.

Will they get some help from a few familiar faces? Tune in this Wednesday to find out.

This show has looked very boring to me since releasing, but Thundercat appearing may just convince me to start it. So cool he got to be in Star Wars. He’s amazing if you haven’t heard of him.

@SpideyPuffsMJ - Don't! It's so unbelievably boring. Go with you gut on this one. When this guy showed up I audibly laughed because he looked so ridiculous.

@SpideyPuffsMJ - It doesn’t reach the highs of Mando, at least not yet, but there are a lot of great moments and ep.4 was the best yet and sets the stage for better things to come. I’d give it a shot for sure!

Plus it was a lot of fun seeing Thundercat appear!

George Lucas: “Tatooine is a backwater shithole of a planet. It’s so drab and desolate and covered in dirt. Everybody just wears brown clothes and has 70’s haircuts.”

Robert Rodriguez: “But I bet there’s a gang of cyberpunk GAP models in leather jackets who ride around Tatooine on fluorescent & chrome Vespas, right?… RIGHT?!”

@santoanderson - This, to me, is the biggest crime of this show. The biker gang is just so incongruent to the rest of Star Wars as a whole.

@FortWaba - They would have perfectly fit in on Prequel-era Coruscant, I don’t think it’s a stretch that tech and aesthetics like that reach a sect of people on Tattooine 30 years later

This show is so dumb. I guess this is proof that even favreau isn't above ruining star Wars either.

@Oberlin4Prez - isn't this Rodriguez' baby?

@Blergh - @Blergh - I mean, he may be involved more than just doing the directing. But Morrison has called out Favreau specifically on the way the character portrayal. But even still Favreau and Feloni are the EPs, they should be able to know what's good and what isn't if it's under someone else's writing and direction. I don't think Mando has been 100% perfect all the time but it's funny how that is more of a Boba Fett show than the Boba Fett

The Biker gang looks out of place. I mean...they should all look dirty. But they are riding around in colorful chrome bikes. It just looks very off.

The show has it's moments, but it feels a little lacking most of the time. The Tusken Raider bits have been a real high-light.
