THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT Hot Toys Figure Highlights The Galaxy's (Second) Most Badass Bounty Hunter Cad Bane

Bounty hunter Cad Bane made his live-action debut in The Book of Boba Fett earlier this year, and while he was eventually bested by his former protégé, the villain made quite the impact in a relatively short space of time.

Fans had been desperate to see Bane make his live-action debut for quite some time, and it didn't disappoint. Some have argued that he could have looked a little closer to what we've seen in shows like Star Wars Rebels and The Bad Batch, but that honestly feels like nitpicking (especially when Corey Burton was once again enlisted to provide the ruthless bounty hunter's voice).

There's no denying it was a shame to see him meet his maker, though it only felt right that Boba was the one to pull the trigger given the complicated history the bounty hunters share. There's always a chance he could show up elsewhere, and we can now take a closer look at how he was translated to screen thanks to an awesome new Hot Toys action figure.

Obviously based on his appearance in The Book of Boba Fett, the Deluxe Version 1/6th scale collectable figure features a newly developed head sculpt, a skillfully tailored hat and outfit, a wired long coat, a pair of blaster pistols, a flamethrower effect, and a display base.

The Deluxe Version also includes a pair of rocket thrusters for Cad Bane's boots, and the bounty hunter’s techno-service droid Todo 360 as seen in The Clone Wars animated series.

It's an impressive take on the villain, and we're sure fans of his animated adventures will appreciate Todo 360's inclusion. Hot Toys has yet to unveil any Obi-Wan Kenobi figures, though given how long these collectibles take to produce, they may still be a while off from being revealed.

Obi-Wan Kenobi finale was such a massive letdown. I was hoping it would stick the landing at least. Nope. This whole show was pointless.

@JonAwesome - glad you enjoyed it. I really wish I honestly could say I did.

@UGLYsonic - I don't think the show was really pointless. For one, I think it now makes sense why Leia named her son Ben because now she actually has a connection to him that makes sense.

But aside from that, I really loved the finale. The show definitely had some issues, but atleast the finale was everything I wanted it to be.

@bkmeijer1 - my issue with it was its wasted potential. With the build up of the PT then The Clone Wars and various other content, the stage was set to have this be the greatest Star Wars product ever created. I'm talking about every episode leaving fans in tears, such emotion and excitement and mind blowing heart wrenching moments between these 2 damaged brothers. This show had 40 years of character development all leading to this series.... that they chose the most lazy and boring direction possible with God awful writing, terrible direction and lazy lazy lazy creative decisions. Every episode had a moment or 2 of okay moments, but the rest was just uninspired filler crap leading us to the final battle which was entirely emotionless until the final moments when Obi-Wan apologized to Anakin. That was the only time I felt any emotion at all, and that moment was over just as swiftly as it began. The whole show should have been pulling on those heart strings, but instead we got Obi-Wan bumbling around feeling sad with precocious baby Leia chased by a boring new character nobody wanted for 6 episodes. They baited Vader vs Obi-Wan and the return of Hayden, but he was in 1 episode as a flashback and then had like brief moments in 2 other episodes.... the rest of the show was highlighting and "developing" strong female characters who holds Obi-Wans hand till he decides he remembers how to be stronger than DARTH [frick]ING VADER. Why this show was called Obi-Wan Kenobi idk because he was a side character in his own show. This was the Reva show. And Reva isn't even necessarily a bad character, everyone is just bitter because this isn't the Reva show. This was meant to be Obi-Wan Vs Vader and to spend the time putting a microscope on those 2. This show wasted all of its potential and completely missed the mark.

@UGLYsonic - I get that why you (and others) feel that way. I knew for one this was never gonna live up to it's expected potential, so I went in with the bare minimum of expectations. And thus for me it delivered.

Yeah it had some filler stuff and Reva was very prominent, but I can see past that. Especially as Reva serviced all the moments that dod make the show worth it for (like getting Vader and Kenobi together, or Kenobi and Leia).

But like I said, I can see why people don't like the show (now). This was always gonna be decisive, because, and mediocre cinematography and production value aside, this is the story and characters rooted so deep into the hearts of the fans and pop culture in general that it was never gonna satisfy a lot of people.

Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that it was always gonna be good, bad and everything in-between. To each their own, and for me that means focussing on the things I liked, not on what I wanted them to be.

Obi Wan was sadly extremely predictable and unoriginal when we pretty much got the same thing that was already done in Rebels

@AnthonyVonGeek - I don't care it retreaded a lot of ground here and there.

For me it all worked (except maybe the quarrie fight), as I hoped it would. I definitely enjoyed it for what it was, not for what I wanted it to be

Loved Cad Bane was a great character… wouldn’t mind him surviving season 1 of Boba to show up in some other shows like Mando and Ashoka.
