OBI-WAN KENOBI Director Deborah Chow Promises More Surprise Cameos As New Spoiler Stills Are Released

The first two episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi arrived on Disney+ last Friday, and Lucasfilm has now dropped another round of stills. This time, we see more of the sinister Sith Inquisitors and, as some of these are clearly promo shots, they offer a closer look at the characters than the screenshots from episodes we're used to seeing.

There were some big cameos in both instalments of Obi-Wan Kenobi, and while we don't get a closer look at those here, director Deborah Chow promised that more are coming during a recent interview with Rotten Tomatoes (via SFFGazette.com).

"I don't think it would be Star Wars if we didn't have some Easter eggs, and we didn't have some cameos. So there definitely are some to come," the filmmaker teased. "I think for us, what we do have in the show, it needed to come out of character for us. We didn't want to just put things in for the sake of it."

"Obi-Wan Kenobi is a character that has definitely interacted with a lot of people and has done a lot in his life," Chow continued, possibly hinting that we could see more familiar faces from the past.

Following reports that the Disney+ limited series was once set to co-star Ray Park's Darth Maul, many fans hope there could be a way to incorporate that iconic villain into the series. We're not going to bank on that happening, but it would be a real missed opportunity if Lucasfilm didn't do what was needed to convince Liam Neeson to reprise the role of Qui-Gon Jinn!

Not loving this at all. Young Leia is just a snotty little brat that needs a spanking.

@Goldboink -

She is, but think about how it eventually pays off...

(Actually, her lack of childhood discipline has nothing to do with how she ends up in a gold bikini...I'm just using it as an excuse to post a picture.)

@Waddles -
Except that Padme was all about responsibility, even from a young age. Leia was certainly headstrong but I thought it was over the top.

@Goldboink - Jeez man, don't get me started on that. Worst part so far, wonder if the idea is to have us all to be annoyed by her.

People saying she's like padme or carrie... No, she's annoying just like Anakid.
