Check Out Finn Balor's Awesome VENOM Inspired Body Paint From WWE NXT TakeOver: The End

WWE Superstar Finn Balor is a huge Marvel fan, and he's become well known for utilising body paint for some of his biggest matches. Over the years, that's included looks based on everyone from Carnage to Spider-Man 2099, but at NXT TakeOver: The End this evening, Balor was rocking a look clearly inspired by villainous symbiote Venom, a character who made his big screen debut in Spider-Man 3.

Talking to Marvel last year, Balor explained why Venom is one of his favourite characters to take inspiration from. "Venom would definitely be kind of my favorite more so for the fact that it was the first one that I had done on the independents in the United Kingdom. And the reaction it got, kind of the doors had opened for me to do it more often. So that would definitely be maybe my favorite."

During his time in Japan, the Irish wrestler utilised a number of Spider-Man inspired looks, and you can check those out in a great article over at Nerdist. Of course, for the vast majority of WWE fans, the biggest talking point to come out of Balor's appearance here is the fact that he was sporting the colours of a certain Club! Anyway, you can check out some photos and videos from the event below.

The Demon Finn Bálor makes one of his always awe-inspiring entrances and he prepares to challenge his bitter rival Samoa Joe for the NXT Championship in a historic Steel Cage Match.

@LEVITIKUZ - My favorite is when they are supposedly "punching" each other they usually raise their leg up and stomp it to the ground to make it really sound like they are punching each other.

@pesmerga44 - My favorite is the part in movies, when they are supposedly "punching" each other, someone in the effects crew smacks some celery with a stick.

Whatever. I'll just travel to Iraq and see real violence.

@TMW1987ProudProWrestlingFan - I know, right? I was shocked to learn this. Now I can't enjoy movies anymore, unless they use real life footage of people getting hurt and killed.

@pesmerga44 - So that would be like a movies special / sound effect then.

Pro Wrestling is a modern theatre performance. You over emphasise things for the people in the nose bleed / cheap seats.

Almost all of his body paints look Venom or Carnage inspired. This isn't news.

Does this count as Venom? I look at it and see the Black and white Bullet Club Demon Finn

Haven't been into wrestling for a long time, but damn do i love the whole pageantry of it. Love watching entrance/return videos on youtube. Crazy how this evolved from just regular wrestling into such an entertainment area. Absolutely love it. Not fake either. Dudes take punishment and beatings out there.

Not really Venom Josh, clutching at straws here when you know he's actually done the proper Venom & Carnage looks before as well as the Black Symbiote Spidey & White Future Foundation Spidey look.

It is awesome when he does proper Marvel & D.C. inspired looks though. Loved his Joker one.
