$892 million worldwide as of end of business yesterday.

Currently #15 top grossing animated movie of all time.

Only 3 animated movies that aren’t sequels are currently ahead of it.

Will dominate this weekends box office guaranteed.

This movie absolutely exceeded expectations.

@mountainman - One more fun stat, it’s currently the 4th highest animated movie all time at the domestic box office and will very likely get into the #2 spot.

@mountainman - All wonderful news that I'm hoping will speed up Nintendo greenlighting the Zelda movie!

@Kadara - 100% with you in that. Mario 2 is guaranteed. A spin off featuring a character from this movie - like Donkey Kong - is also very likely. I hope they also go deeper into Nintendo’s catalog. Mega Man is my first choice (if they have the rights), but Zelda is a very close second.

@mountainman - Oh I would love to see that, multiple movies featuring major characters on their own and then them all coming together in some kind of Avengers moment in Super Smash Bros!

@Kadara - If imagine that’s what they are planning. This Nintendo animated universe (NAU?) is going to be huge!

@Fogs - No kids yet (5 more weeks for my wife!!!) but we decided to go see it tomorrow. Sometimes a good kids movie is an enjoyable watch. Hope we enjoy it as much as everyone else seems to.
