1st episode of the web-series featuring Kano, Jax, and Sonya.

Written by Kevin Tancharoen , Aaron Helbing and Todd Helbing, “Mortal Kombat: Legacy” is an anthology of nine live action shorts, and brings to life the motivation behind each character’s participation in the Mortal Kombat tournament. Each episode will provide never-before-revealed insights into characters featured in the upcoming videogame as well as the game’s universe.

Episodes will premiere on Machinima every tuesday. "Like" the video on youtube that way we can get a film out of this.

For a web-series it has REALLY nice special effects, looks like a regular show you'd see on t.v

WB producing it only makes me feel even more confident in the show.

This show could possibly lead to a great resurrection for the MK brand back onto the big screen!

I enjoy Tamoh (spelling?) as Curtis Stryker. I hope to see more from him as well in this series. I'd love a feature film with some quality to it. The lore and characters of Mortal Kombat has become more then just the video game series I played back when Genesis was the king of systems. Its nice how they're tying the creation of Cyrax and Sektor in with Kano, and how it relates to him getting his eye through the cybernetics stuff. Definitely good ideas, but there is some really weak acting with some of the actors. I love how the strike team went in in full gear, except Jax and Stryker haha

Good beginning.
The story is a great add for the MK games: the Black Dragon working for the Lin Kuei, why Kano will be the nemesis of Sonya, Stryker working with Jax..

Kano using some lines of his movie counterpart.

Can't wait to see Sonya fighting against Black Dragon in episode 2!

Yeah, I think Jeri Ryan is a bit too old for the role. This was really good, I can't wait for the next episode... What was the point of the slow-mo when she escaped? I know it's used to give it a more dramatic effect, but it seemed like an anti-climactic end. They should've ended on the Jax/Kano fight...

I was impressed considering that he was kinda wooden in IP Man 2. I guess Kano was the role for him lol.

Not bad, good enough to check it out again next week for sure! Some of the acting was a bit campy but at the budget of a web series some of these guys are probably working for free. Scorpion and Sub-Zero should kill it when their ep. airs.

he was born to be Kano i have not seen IP Man 2 a friend at work told me i need to check it out.

but i do find some of the lines in the movie a bit off. also did u notice they still used Deacon City Police in the episode you see the sign at 02:00 lol.

also i like how use the factory for building the tech weapons and the robots

@jazzman: Yeah I noticed that but thanks to the semi-futuristic setting where cops seem to be more like the SF this surprisingly didn't affect much storywise with the Sonya Kano rivalry.
