Beenox recently became the lead full time developer after working on Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and the upcoming Spider-Man: Edge of Time

Yeah he could be meaning something about Edge of Time. And I think it's likely that they'll do the TASM video game.
Would be cool if they did the Avengers game too.

The marvel videogames have been really hit or miss. of the one's I've played:

Good:
Spider-Man 2 and 3
Ultimate Alliance 1 and 2
X-Men Legends 2
Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction

bad:
Spider-Man
X-Men III: The Last Stand
Iron Man
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer

I want to see a PROPER Iron Man game, or even another Spider-man game, with as much detail and thought as Batman: Arkham Asylum had.

Marvel doesn't actually make video games like they do movies. The quality of said titles really depends on whose publishing and developing. Marvel doesn't have a place in either jobs of the industry.

However, video games based off Marvel characters have set the bar time and time again for the superhero genre. Even the bad ones are based off of movies and are crap by default. Movie games always try to coincide with the film's release and end up getting rushed and half-assed in the process.

Ultimate Alliance 3 should be enough for those looking for Iron Man, Hulk, Daredevil and dozens other Marvel characters games.

It should be the new Avengers game. SD was good, and edge looks okay, but I haven't played it. They really understand how to respect the characters. I say let em have it.

Im in the middle of Shattered Dimensions at the minute and its pretty damned fun (except the Deadpool tidal wave bit), I cant wait for Edge of Time, these guys make good Spidey games, the type of Spidey games that remind me of the fun Spidey games I used to play on the PS1 when I was a kid

That's my story and I'm sticking to it: I still believe MARVEL is gonna combine elements from the movie with Ultimate Alliance and kill two birds with one stone.
Hopefully it pays off for them and the fans! We need a good MARVEL game.
