Movie Based On UNCHARTED Video Game And DC Comic Series Finally Lands A Director
Sony Pictures have finally found a director for the big screen adaptation of Naughty Dog's Uncharted franchise, but is Seth Gordon the right man for the job? It certainly sounds like it!
According to Deadline, Sony Pictures are in talks with Seth Gordon for him to helm the live action adaptation of the critically acclaimed and top selling Playstation video game franchise, Uncharted. The story has also been continued in comic book format through DC. The Horrible Bosses and Identity Thief director once helmed the celebrated documentary King of King, in which he immersed himself in video game culture, so it's a world he's definitely familiar with. Safe House scribe David Guggenheim penned the screenplay, and the studio liked it so much that they got him to write Bad Boys 3 for them. The hunt is now on to fill the lead roles. How do you guys feel about this news?
