Crash Team Racing on the PS1 was the answer to Mario Kart 64 back in the day, blowing everyone away with its revolutionary drifting system & additional modes & content. Now, 20 years later, Activision calls us back to the race track with "Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled".

For a while, we've been getting teases for the highly-requested remaster through certain people recieving a pair of orange fuzzy-dices with a cryptic note saying "Sliding into The Game Awards 12/6", but now we've finally got a first-look at the next Crash Bandicoot outing:

Much like Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy & Spyro: Reignited Trilogy, Nitro-Fueled will take the original game & remaster it from the ground up with "N. Hanced" HD (& 4K?) visuals & animations, & offer more content. Expect online play, more tracks & karts to choose from than before, & even more that has yet to be revealed!

Pre-order now to get the Deluxe Nitrous-Oxide Edition, where you'll have access to Nitrous Oxide himself, along with his hovercraft-kart & space-themed character skins.

Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled will crash into stores for PS4, Xbox One, & Nintendo Switch June 21st.

Time to relive my childhood again!! I'll thankfully be home for vacations and will be able to play a ton with my older brother like when we we're little.

@8thDoctor - I played the shot out of this in college. We had the 4-way splitter and spent waaaaay too much time playing this game in the dorms. We had all of the maps memorized, all the secret passages and everything. It was epic.

A few years ago they made 2 app games when I had an iPod Touch. The second one allowed you to race live against other players. I was so good at that game that I don't think I ever got to finish a race, as everyone else would log off because I was lapping them so bad.

I know Mario Cart is the beezneez for most, but I truly loved this ripoff.
